Dear Amazon Prime, Thank you for giving me a $10 credit on my first order with free shipping from Whole Foods. I might have enjoyed my dinner tonight

had it been delivered. Your driver, with a heavy African accent, called me when he had trouble finding my street. I admit it can be confusing when your GPS tells you to turn left immediately after turning left and you see another light ahead. If your guy could read a map he would've seen my street in the middle of the block. I helpfully gave him directions from where he was - at the next corner. All he had to do was go around the block, then slow down after making the 2nd left. He would've seen my street then. I even told him it was opposite the very busy liquor store. But for some reason he decided to cancel my order. He must have been too embarrassed to call back to tell me he didn't know how to go around a block. And I'm sorry that the city in some past decade closed off the end of my street, making the entrance and exit from the other end. I did tell the driver he would see my street - and my house - as he passed the big wrought iron gate as he went around the block.

But thanks very much to the apologetic and very helpful woman with an American accent who took my call when I attempted to catch the order before he crossed the river into Ohio, as I'm only 4 blocks from two bridges. Unfortunately, she couldn't do anything about the order. Apparently, drivers have the power of gods when it comes to cancelling orders. However, she graciously gave me a $30 credit for my next order.

And Amazon, this is the 2nd time in about 2 weeks that I've had a problem with a local delivery driver. Expansion is great and all and I really like getting stuff delivered for free in less than 2 hours but please get some control over the drivers.

Thank you very much for listening,
A disgruntled Prime customer who was easily placated with that $30 credit.
