There was an article in the NYT a few months back by a former Marine who is now a teacher. After Parkland he checked his classroom for evac.

Only one door, that opened out and didn't lock, no other doorways. And windows that don't open. In other words no good way to get kids out safely and away. He said if he was required to carry a gun he was quitting, wasn't the way he was trained to keep people safe.
