Just saw the picture. Sure is an MRAP. I see the purpose and the price is right, but...

The upkeep is going to lead them to decommission it within a couple of years. Does SWAT need an armored vehicle to bring officers into a dangerous situation safely? Sure. But maintenance of an unconventional vehicle requires special mechanical expertise and special parts. Sure, the rig cost a buck, but when the budget cuts hit, it’s the first thing to get mothballed.
