we couldn't leave. for 14 hours. however this lovely couple kept checking in with us...

(we were in the boardroom of a fancy condo building full of mostly retired people).

They were like "we are going to Starbucks, what can we get you?"

Us: Oh, we are fine, nothing thanks.

Them: Don't be silly, do you drink coffee? Yes, okay, we'll be back. (15 minutes later.... ) Here are your super large coffees and a bag of creamers and sugars.

After dinner: We made brownies and we can't possibly eat them, we brought you a plate.

They were so sweet.
