Is the policy of separating children hurting Trump's approval at all?

I get the impression the administration knows it looks bad so they're deflecting by lying about what's happening and blaming others.

And I believe there's some squishiness in the middle... people who might swing. But I have no doubt that his base will support him regardless. So how are the swing voters swinging?
