Since it's Anarchy Monday (stares at Beaker), my little moment of bucking the social order

In line at the dollar store for some candy - it's a snake lineup that ends with a row of six cash registers. Only one clerk at the very last one. The lineup has stopped at the last bend leaving a good 30 foot gap, meaning "next please" is a faint echo and takes ten seconds to actually have the next person get to the register. When *I'm* next up to go, I walk all the way down to the register next to the one that's staffed so that when that person's done, we're right ready to go. I'm a loner, Dottie, a rebel.
