I'll look where I bought, but major sites like Amazon, PepBoys, Autozone filter by your specific car so you know they match.

You'd be fine going with OEM replacements, or step up for higher tech pads.
Rotors are the same way, but it's harder to know if you need them until the mechanic looks, and I'm not sure there's a good way to know if they're really telling the truth if they say "your rotors are warped and need replacing." Rotors do warp or wear from old pads, but I figure you have to take it on faith of what they're telling you.
