J.K. Rowling is rolling on the floor laughing after Trump's tweet about his writing prowess includes a typo
|
The rule of thumb is if you ever brag about something you’re good at, don’t mess it up. Case and point: President Donald Trump tweeted bragging about how he had written “many best selling books,” and he prides himself on his “ability to write.” However, the tweet itself contained a typo.
The tweet in question, which has since been deleted, reads: “After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake. I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!”
Trump! Even the best writers have copy editors who continuously correct them for the better! Nothing to be ashamed of, but maybe bragging about writing skills was the wrong course of action.
