So on smaller phones they're going to take away some of the already limited screen size for a camera. That doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

They can do it where the camera is above the screen and you don't have wasted screen space that can't be used and a terrible looking phone with a notch right in the middle. The designers should be fired.
