sorry; I was gardening. I bought the cheapest one with 8GB of RAM. I always worry about under-RAMming because I sometimes use excel (ram hog).

I would probably buy the one for $1049 (plus 10% off) here. the least expensive model costs more in the end.
I don't tend to store a lot of music on my laptop. if you do, you may want to jump up to 256 GB.
