I haven't seen that here. a couple of restaurants finally added back cards, but I still know of at least a couple of cash-only places.

I always ask for a receipt for retailers that do that, because I know many are trying to be shady with it.

(exception: I don't for the place I get my pedicures, because feet. I overtip there, too. mine are ok, various scars aside; but, man, those of some others I've seen. *shudder*)
