PokeGo from bb's - no troubles at all finding the 5 turtle tasks, I nabbed several of sunglassed ones,

around a local park and then shopping center and one regular shiny in an hour or so*.
I exited out of trying to catch a couple, so I could use those for more tasks.
even with some connectivity issues, I'd say it was the best community day I've had so far. still plenty of room for improvement, though. no strong turtles, I had to use one from the water event to get a new blastoise that should have decent iv and another that should be ok. (I didn't know/care about iv when I did my first blastoise, oops. same with loads of other critters.)
the sunglass type don't count as shinies, a la the pikachus in hats, when you search on "shiny" - no special stars either.
I don't know how many to save - the 20K stardust for new critter trading is such a barrier. ugh.
*my pokedex says I had both male and female - I think I accidentally deleted a little one without noticing it was starry, aww.
I couldn't do the saturday dealio - haven't been able to do any of the legendary days, boo; but at least I have cute sunglasses critters. ;p
