Do you see examples in Canada? Federal or provincial? I'm not sure I see any from the recent Australian or the British perspectives.
The main one that comes to my mind is people from Russia and Eastern Europe who are nostalgic for the Cold War, and even Stalin. But I think that's more because the new world of free markets, democracy, capitalism was confusing and people felt that at least they understood their place in the Soviet system.
And now with Trump, etc, we're seeing changes to the status quo and have nostalgia for the old.
