It allows you to edit your camera's firmware. I am learning it now.

The override I am using it for is to keep the Canon 60D for shutting off after 12 minutes of filming video which drives me insane when it happens.
I have also found a raw video record feature that allows you to edit your video like it's all shot in photographs. It's like a hyper action photo setting.
Anyway, I am just now learning. It's on my camera now, and was wondering if anyone was further along with it than I am.
