so basically there are the four part ones (which I link above) and the one part ones (linked here) and neither are strong enough for a 10' umbrella in

moderate wind -- most people recommend that you take them down (not closed but down) in any kind of wind activity.
it's not a dealbreaker for me -- just something to be aware of. there are actually kits that you can use to attach to you deck that have good reviews, but I can't get under my deck.
