My proposal for "ending" American Idol.

Two more regular seasons so we get 10 champs. A competition between the 10 champs (let's hope they're under contract!)No judging (we all know they can sing), so it becomes, essentially, a popularity contest. Then Carrie Underwood gets crowned the Greatest Idol Ever. Series over.
