Those vinyl ones are cheaper than the alternatives, but they don't last like they claim they will. If he's in an area that gets snow, I wouldn't -- (edited)

think they would last long. When you grab the top of them, sometimes they break off. The bottoms break from wear also, like if you run into it a few times with a lawnmower or your dog/kid is running into it. It depends on the lot size, but it's going to be several thousands of dollars.
