Next price increase for the Harrisburg Marathon is August 1st. Not sure if I'm confident enough yet to pull the trigger.

I've been following the training program, but it's definitely going in fits and starts. I'll have one run where I feel great and like I've got this, and then I'll have another one that is just horrible and think what the hell am I doing? Being part of running group is a good motivation and support at least.
I do think it's a weirdly positive sign that the pain keeps moving around to different parts of my lower body. If I was truly injuring myself I think it would be more of a consistent pain in the same place.
I guess one of the odder things to have to learn about pacing is that it's not about how do I feel now. You literally have to be thinking, how am I going to be feeling three hours from now?
