I don't expect them to go through with it, but we're supposed to be on their side since we've been on Frances' no bullshit side all movie; and Rockwell's come over to help her...
clearly, it's intended to make them anti-hero's that we're backing. But Rockwell didn't even earn that. He's just a racist shitheel criminal moron who's going to puss out of being a murderer, or he's a racist shitheel criminal moron murderer.
75% of the movie in, she was an angry take no shit woman -- the last 25%, she's devolved into an arsonist and now murder-talker.
Like, I know vengeance is a no-win situation, but this was almost laughable in how absurd it got in the last 30 minutes.
