In a 162 game season, you're going to lose against some bad teams. It happens. That doesn't make your team suck, too.

Especially since you have the second best record in the majors. You have the best bullpen in the majors. You have an above average lineup with ridiculous power, and good starting pitching. No one in the majors (besides the Red Sox) can compete with the Yankees overall.

Sure, it sucks that the two best teams in the majors can't both be division winners, but just imagine rooting for one of the other three teams in the division.
