I recall having this discussion with you before back when it came out. It's a fine-line but it worked better in his other stuff

particularly in The Devil's Rejects. The violence fit the story. Things had a purpose.
Maybe I'd see the Halloween remake a little differently if it weren't actually a remake, but it's total shit relative to the classic original.
