I know people don't get it and that's fine. It's not for everyone. Some people like certain fashions and for me and many others we just love sneakers.

It's a bit of a midlife crisis thing in wanting to own the Jordan's and other sneakers I couldn't afford when I was a kid. It's also that I've always loved sneakers and want to have the nicest pair anyone's seen that day.

I collect some but all of my sneakers will be worn and not just sit around.

- I agree. Also, they have a limited shelf life. The glue will dry up and so will the foam in the sole. An NBA guy had a pair fall apart on the court. - Krusty Aug 3, 07:06
