Several of the people who fell for it have spoken publicly about how it was an all-day training event, you're only seeing about 4-5 minutes of an 8 hour activity, and that it made more sense to them at the time in context of the entire day's activities.

*shrug*

I haven't seen any of the videos myself. From what I've heard described, it sounds pretty batshit crazy.
