Legend has it a baby died in the farmhouse and visitors have heard it crying. Agnes was 14 when the house wast built and -- (edited)

her son Emerson was school-aged when they moved back from Florida. There was never a baby in the house - but there was a litter of kittens in the crawl space at one time :)
