Follow-up to yesterday RE: radar detector. Last night I took backroads to get around a two week bridge repair on the highway.

Had it in sport mode and was doing 85 on a freshly paved country road with a speed limit of 40. Detector started going off and I could see zero cars. Slowed down. Got over a small hill and there was a sherriff's car at the stop sign coming to meet me.
