The initial projection was that he'd be pain free and swinging a bat last week. He is still having pain and hasn't touched a bat, obviously. And that's after a cortisone shot on Tuesday. If the pains goes away soon I think the best we can hope for is early Sept.
Sanchez is about to start rehab games so he'll be back soon but he was complete garbage this season and isn't the guy the lineup really needs to make it formidable again. He's dangerous but he was broken before the injuries and wasn't helping. Judge is a monster that is sorely missed in the lineup and the field. There's a guy named Shane Robinson in right field most nights.
