For some bizarre legal reason (i didn't really ask because it seemed tedious), i was just asked to go downstairs to mail something with our lawyer

watching me mail it. Then she had me sign a letter with the date and time I put it in the mail box, and then she certified that i this action did in fact happen. Then this letter I signed got mailed separately from the first letter, to the same place.
This was to a government agency. That seems a *bit much*.
