Also, from a few days ago, Moltres Day should be September 8th.

The way these events work, Moltres is theoretically soloable.
The raid doesn't spawn until someone with the app open is close enough to see the gym. They all have the same timer, though. So some gyms don't have a raid start until an hour or more into the event, meaning they last for an hour or more after the event. Even though it is a legendary raid it is treated like a level 4. It gets the HP and such of a level 4 raid and a timer to match. Once the event ends the stats stay the same, but the timer goes to the longer tier 5 timer. That gives you enough time that it is reportedly possible to solo Moltres with enough double rock tyranitars at the right level.
