With last night's win the Yankees have secured their 26th consecutive winning season. Longest streak in MLB and second longest ever behind

the Yankees of 1926-1964. That was 39 consecutive years.

I remember that 1992 team very well. We had Mattingly with his progressively worse back issues, a young Bernie Williams about to become a perennial all-star and the great Steve Howe who would get a lifetime ban this year for substance abuse.
There were a lot of guys on that last losing team that I remember fondly.
