So Krusty didn't understand them and I explained how I do mine.
His concern and I believe this fits most folks concerns. A player is going to fall lower than expected and I will miss out on him because I have a draft card in place that didn't account for that fall.
Here is what I do. And David please say if any of this makes things harder on you.
I look down the WRs RBs etc. I write down the players I want on a list.
Then I rank them in order of desire. Top of the list first through the bottom of the list last.
Then I account for the chance that ALL of those players get drafted by my turn by saying.
If all my players are gone, pick the highest rated...WR or RB or whatever that doesn't have an injury worse that Q or D or whatever you want that to be.
Then lastly so I don't miss that guy that fell lower than expected?
I said in the first round allow me the first 30 minutes, and now in the lower rounds I say first 20 minutes before you pick for me.
I have 2 people that I asked to text me at my turn, so I don't have to hover on the draft board. I can glance at it now and I have a backup with that text.
David is a third person that has my text number, and he used that today.
So if ANYTHING unexpected comes up, I am only holding up the draft for 20 minutes tops.
David texted me today the second my turn came up, and asked if I wanted Emmanual Sanders the last person on my draft card for that round. I said yes, and boom it was picked. I think we probably burned 10 minutes in that turn doing that.
There it is guys. Almost fail safe Draft Card to get the players you want to get.
