has crashed , and so far attempts to retrieve over 1TB of photos has been unsuccessful (they think it may be the power board which they’re now ordering and hopefully they’ll be able to recover everything if that’s the issue), since it’s basically years worth of family/work/convention photos, most of which probably aren’t stored anywhere else), and TODAY...today the steering arm on the one and only vehicle we own just...broke off. Luckily Ashlee wasn’t on the freeway, or that could have been bad.

Would be nice to catch a break here.

Yeah, if the drive itself is unaffected by the problem, those photos should be entirely recoverable. If so, get them backed up to the cloud ASAP. -- nm - Beryllium Aug 27, 18:49 2
