Nah, there's likely obsidian. A lot of it is flakes from tool processing.

This is a collection we rescued from a garage. Some of the artifacts had been recorded and identified, others are still in the field collection bags from the 1970s. My recording spreadsheet has about 1150 lines and most of those lines are for bags with multiple artifacts.
I wasn't at the lab to monitor the actual recording and re-boxing and one of our folk got confused and, instead of numbering the items per box, he started each recording sheet with a new number sequence...and then put both sets in the same box. I have two boxes I have to go through and re-number half of the bags.
