it should surprise nobody that sash's "I'm leaving at 10" turned into "I'm leaving at 3:45 for sash" so we didn't vacuum three consecutive times.

we did vacuum my rug using the dyson and then the miele. it's so gross what comes out of the rug with the miele after the dyson. like "my house has never been (and probs never will be) clean."
I highly recommend the miele to anyone who needs a vacuum. they cost *a lot* but if their reputation for lasting is true at all, the purchase is a no-brainer.
