I disagree. were something to happen and I knew and didn't tell, I would feel responsible. I agree with her thinking it was wrong to hire him and

not disclose his friend's past with those who were going to be working with him on set. What if someone brought their kids to the set and this guy started an inappropriate conversation with one of the kids or something worse? sure - it's probably paranoid thinking on my part that something could transpire given how long ago and what the circumstances were ... but wouldn't you just feel terrible if something were to happen? His statement that it was only words in an email doesn't make it any less damaging to the child involved. The fact that he seems to think it's not as big a deal shows a real lack of understanding of how wrong he was to engage a 14 year old as he did - relative of his or not.
