I called Nike to exchange a sneaker and it couldn't have been easier. They will take back any sneaker, even if they're worn,

within 30 days of purchase. No reason asked or needed. After 30 days it needs to be unworn or unwashed in the case of clothing.

I bought a pair of Air Safari in black and white for walking the dogs but after two weeks of wearing them the fabric on the top by my ankle tore open on the right sneaker. The left if perfectly fine. I hadn't done anything to cause the damage so I called Nike and they didn't even question me about it once. They found me a similar pair and are shipping them out to me at no cost. The colorway I have is sold out so I had to get a different colorway but that's fine and kind of what I expected.
