people that were dealt a shitty hand in life, but continue to persevere - they're Davids.
people who've had all the benefits in life (even though they may have worked hard to get where they are) - they're the Goliaths.
So - Mike White, the rassler, the 28 year old doctor girl - all Goliaths.
The dude who never knew his father and grew up with a paralyzed mother - David.
Apparently - on the first day, when Probst shared the theme with them, there was a long argument about it from many of the "Goliaths" claiming that they weren't just handed everything in life. The doctor chick was one of the loudest.
When Probst got more of her story - parents were doctors. Lived in great neighborhoods with great schools and yadda yadda.
So while she worked real hard to get through medical school and build a successful practice - it's a way different story than someone who came from nothing .
Ultimately - it doesn't matter cause they'll swap tribes like 3 episodes in anyway
