We have a keypad that is probably locked 99% of the time from the outside by default. -- (edited)

Before we replaced our doors a few years ago, we never locked, mostly because it was almost impossible to get the door locked in the first place. Plus we still had our Doberman, so no one strange was going to be coming in on purpose.
