They were very clear before we started what was going to happen.

I have to tell you though, even knowing it, I was amazed at how loud it was and at my reaction to it. That being said, I'm glad we did it because I've often wondered if, playing music in my classroom, I'd be able to hear gunshots at a distance in the school. Spoiler alert, I would.

I would hope that her school was very clear as to what was going to occur before the drill.
