The results in the other races are fascinating because of the turnout. Hocul won because of Western NY(!). Maloney and Teachout split

everywhere other than NYC where neither of them could overcome Tish James's blowout margin. Maloney spent money in western NY so he won there, Teachout actually won his congressional district and Albany.
james seems... okay, but as Cuomo's endorsee, she will be considerably less likely to put any pressure on him. Teachout would have given him fits.
