"Come back Saturday and then I don't want you to come back until Tuesday. You're not good company on NFL days"

Anyways, that is what I got told.
Her CNA last night was a guy. He was really quiet. Sometimes when you get a really quiet one, they're the type that they are resentful because they have to do the cruddy things CNAs have to do.
I could tell though that this guy wanted to be nice, he was just the quiet type. So he helped Trish and left. A few hours later, we needed his help again getting her back into bed. At this time, I had turned on the Mariners game. It was just an inning after Nelson Cruz had hit a three run bomb.
The CNA looked at the TV and said "Do you like the Mariners?" After I told him that I did, he pulled up his sleeve and on his upper arm was a huge tattoo of a Mariners compass rose. The bottom of the compass was filled in with the Seattle skyline like the old Sonics used to have and then underneath it was the Seahawks logo.
All of a sudden the quiet guy would not quit talking. He used to live in Everett. I got to hear all about his approximately $20,000 in Seahawks memorabilia (including odd things like the gloves Jermaine Kearse wore in the Super Bowl against Denver).
We got to hear about the one year that he had 47 fantasy football teams. We got to hear about his fantasy football draft strategy. He is wrong about drafting but I wasn't going to tell him that because I need him to take good care of my wife (who unfortunately agrees with him about drafting). We got to hear about his work as a volunteer assistant high school football coach.
It was quite a pleasant surprise.
