Not looking forward to the next few weeks. As you know I'm active with the local historical society - pretty much a low key activity......

lead a few tours, maintain the membership records, and take care of incoming emails and some secretarial type duties. On paper I'm the board Vice President.

The place is managed (controlled) by the President and his wife who runs the Barn Sales.

This morning I walked in to be told "guess you're in charge." The wife has not been well and is now bedridden and not expected to live much longer. He will not be able to spend his days at the museum as usual - this will irritate him no end. He's already talking about cutting back or canceling next month's sale because they won't be available to run it. We depend on these funds to continue to operate, and have all been involved long enough to know what we need to to do.

Should be an interesting time :/
