That's almost before my time - I barely remember Mac Daddy. I started HSX in January 2001. As for Viper Room, we did not ask the cabbie to land us at -- (edited)

that spot that night - we debated it in the cab and then asked him to take us further east. We were outside the Roxbury sometime later, saw people dressed up in Halloween gear, one as a unicorn, I think..
Thing is we had been rejected at the door of The Viper Room the week before, for being too young. We weren't able to bluff our way past security.
