I listened to a political interview today at the dentist (I wanted hurricane coverage, but CBC had to ruin it) -- (edited)

Minister for the Environment or somesuch McKenna was speaking to a CBC interviewer.

I was not impressed. I wanted to hear about actual steps being taken on climate change, not how Conservatives fucked up the last decade of federal climate change response & are continuing to fuck it up harder on the provincial level. It felt like it was far too heavy on whining about partisanship and very light on actionable steps.

If they truly want to be partisan about it, maybe provinces should be fined for intentionally not meeting targets (doug ford). Because otherwise the country as a whole won’t be able to meet emissions (Doug Ford) reduction targets (Doug Ford).
