I naturally come across as defensive.

This goes way beyond ST. It's a fault of mine. I'm working on it. I don't mean to come across that way, but often it's my choice in vocabulary or my attitude in speaking.

When people I consider friends accuse me of something I haven't done or insinuate that I support something evil and revolting, it hurts.
