I like neither, obviously, but I also realize a politician has to be savvy within the constructs of the times they serve and do what they think is in there best political interest (Hi Susan Collins, you piece of shit). It's just the way it is.

DOMA was bad, but I don't see any better compromise for the time than DADT, it worked until society changed. -- nm
