I agree with your first statement, but I'm not quite getting the second one.

Sure, pointing out racism is not intolerance. Telling bigots to go pound sand is not intolerance.
But what you mean by "If you feel excluded because that’s the hill you choose to die on, it is only because you are excluding yourself"?
