I think it was a tad ambitious for the film to be shot the way it was, considering it's a firts time effort.

I like the way it was shot, mostly, but if the director doesn't have a firm hand on the acting (and I really think Gaga was weak), it can become a mess.
I also liked him as an actor very much, and think it's a good, far from great, film. It's a good story, for sure.
