Everybody gets the day off.
24 hours of voting.
All polls close at the same time (3 am eastern, midnight pacific)
Then we all wake up the next morning and find out who won

We have MANY sites to drop off ballots to avoid mailing them. I know of three places 2 miles or less from my house. Drive up and drop are common too
