I was answering Andie specifically about mayonnaise.
So I was talking to a blonde Canadian about a white sauce (mayo) and somehow MDH and then you got "black barbecue" out of it. That is kind of funny to me :)
also, its more than for just Lutherans - I'll take my German potato salad to a steakhouse and give it a French name based on ingredients and it would sell as a side to steak. Oh yes it would.
