I'd be interested in what wait staff think about that concept.

I've always disliked the concept that folks can make poor (even below minimum) wages on the concept that they'll make it up in tips.
BUT, I expect someone who is very good at their job makes far more from tips then they would in a set-wage, no-tip world and that changing the system would reward subpar servers and demotivate some good servers.
Not sure though, but curious about it
